Tyson Fury announces return to professional boxing in 2026
Tyson Fury is gearing up for a comeback in the ring.
Details: The British former heavyweight world champion officially declared on Instagram his intention to resume his professional career in 2026.
"2026 is the year of my return. I’ve been out of the ring for a while, but now it’s time to come back. I’m 37 years old, and I’ll still be fighting. There’s nothing better than punching men in the face and getting paid for it," Fury wrote.
Recall that in 2024, Tyson Fury suffered two defeats to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk by judges’ decision. The first bout took place on May 18, with the rematch following on December 21, 2024. After these setbacks, the "Gypsy King" announced his retirement from professional boxing.
Reminder: Anthony Joshua has commented for the first time on the tragic accident that claimed the lives of his friends.
