Tyrique George Reveals Nigerian-Ghanaian Heritage

Chelsea forward Tyrique George has opened up about his family background, revealing that he has dual West African roots, with a Ghanaian mother and a Nigerian father.

The 20-year-old striker joined Everton on loan on transfer deadline day, and in his first interview with the club, he confirmed his heritage in a segment on Everton’s official channel.

“I was born in Camden, London, my mum is Ghanaian, and my dad is Nigerian.”
