Two legends of Borussia Dortmund joined the coaching staff of the team

Borussia Dortmund announced that Nuri Şahin and Sven Bender have joined the coaching staff of the club. Their contracts run until June 30, 2025, and will come into effect from January 1.
Nuri Şahin previously worked as the head coach at Turkish club Antalyaspor. Sven Bender held the position of assistant coach for the German national under-17 team.
As players, both Sahin and Bender were part of Borussia Dortmund under the leadership of Jürgen Klopp. They were champions of Germany in 2011 and won the country's cup in 2017.
It's worth noting that the team has been unable to secure a win for six consecutive matches. In the German Bundesliga table, they are positioned fifth after 16 rounds, trailing the leader by a margin of 15 points. Dortmund's next match is scheduled for January 13 away against Darmstadt.
