In Lenzerheide, Switzerland, the second race of the third stage of the Biathlon World Cup took place. On Friday, December 15, the men's sprint unfolded.

The race was won by German biathlete Benedikt Doll. He covered the distance in 23:15.8 minutes and did not miss a single shot during the shooting. In the second position, Norwegian Johannes Bo finished with one missed shot, trailing the leader by 5.4 seconds. The top three leaders were completed by another German biathlete, Philipp Nawrath. He also had one missed shot in the shooting range and lagged behind the winner by 36.8 seconds.
