Two friendly matches for the Ivory Coast women's team ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations
The Ivory Coast women's team will begin training on 24 February 2026.
This is part of their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place from 17 March to 3 April 2026 in Morocco. Before flying to the host country, the Ivorians will fine-tune their strategy in Abidjan.
This will involve a training camp starting on Tuesday 24 February. The camp will feature two friendly matches. The Ivorian women's national team will play Kenya and Benin to test their system. The first match will be against Benin on 28 February at the Félix Houphouët Boigny Stadium at 7 pm GMT. The second match against Kenya is scheduled for 4 March at 5 pm GMT at the Alassane Ouattara Olympic Stadium in Ebimpé.
In the final phase of the 2026 African Cup of Nations, Ivory Coast is in Group B alongside Burkina Faso, South Africa and Tanzania.
