Despite securing a spot in the Champions League playoffs, Feyenoord has made a drastic managerial change.
Details: Today, Feyenoord officially announced the dismissal of head coach Brian Priske.
Notably, this decision comes just two days before their first-leg playoff match against Milan in the Champions League.
The main reason for his departure is Feyenoord’s poor performances in the Eredivisie, where the Rotterdam club sits in fifth place after 21 rounds.
Priske took over Feyenoord last summer, replacing Arne Slot, who left to join Liverpool.
Reminder: This winter, Feyenoord sold their top scorer Santiago Giménez to Milan.
