Turkish Giants Offer €20 Million Annually to Lure Salah
Mohamed Salah's future at Liverpool is still in question, as his contract with the club will expire at the end of the 2024-2025 season in June. With Liverpool yet to open any talks with him for its renewal, reports are that the Egyptian star might join Turkish side Galatasaray next summer.
Already, Galatasaray has held preliminary talks with Salah's agent, according to Turkish outlet Foto Mac, in the hopes of signing the Egyptian winger. The club is reportedly ready to hand an annual salary of €20 million to Salah, excluding all bonuses related to signing.
While the 32-year-old winger is also in demand from Saudi clubs, adding another element of intrigue to his future prospects. However, according to Liverpool Insider, the English club is not overly troubled by recent speculation, since officials are confident that extending with Salah remains his first choice.
Salah has been at Liverpool since 2017 after arriving from AS Roma, and a decision about where he will go next could be made as he turns 33 in June.
