Turkish club make offer for legendary Atletico Madrid defender

Turkish side Trabzonspor have made an offer for Atletico Madrid Spanish defender Stefan Savic. The offer of a three-year agreement is on the table in front of the player.
Savic is considering the possibility and is expected to make a decision soon - tomorrow could be a crucial day in the negotiations. Atletico Madrid are ready to let the defender go if he wants to.
The Montenegrin defender could leave Madrid in the summer despite recently extending his contract with the club until June 2025. There are already clubs from Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Italy interested in his services.
Savic, 33, is an Atletico legend. He has been playing for the Madrid club since the summer of 2015, when he moved from Fiorentina for €12 million. Since then, Savic has played 296 matches for Diego Simeone's team and scored 3 goals.
Last season, the experienced central defender played 32 matches in all tournaments without scoring.
