The President of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheikh, shared his plans for next year.

According to him, he held a meeting with his team to discuss boxing matches for the 2024/25 season. They are ready to focus on fighters from the USA. Turki also mentioned that Canelo no longer interests him.

"I decided to disregard the Canelo fight because I no longer need it. Instead, I will focus on the US market with bigger fights, especially with the legend Crawford. Additionally, I will support organizing fights for Ennis, Haney, Shakur, Ortiz, Anderson, Benavidez, Zepeda, and others. Regarding Tim Tszyu, there is some miscommunication between our teams, so I think I will reevaluate his situation," he stated.

He is concentrating on the season's card in Riyadh, the boxing night at Wembley on September 21st, where AJ will face Dubois. Furthermore, everything depends on the results of the season opener in Riyadh on October 12th.

Additionally, he plans to organize the Fury vs. Usyk rematch on December 21st and another major card in the first quarter of 2025.

It is also worth noting that the WBA has two new champions.
