The Tunisia national team has decided to part ways with head coach Faouzi Benzarti.
Details: According to official statements from the Tunisian Football Federation, the contract was terminated by mutual agreement. The football organization expressed gratitude for the work of Faouzi Benzarti, who held the position for only three months.
Quote: "The Tunisian Football Federation would like to thank Mr. Faouzi Benzarti for his services and efforts during his tenure as head coach of the national team and wishes him success in his future coaching career," the statement reads.
Under Faouzi Benzarti's leadership, Tunisia played just four matches, all in the qualification rounds for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The team won their first two matches but then suffered a defeat and a draw against the Comoros Islands.
Reminder: The president of the Libyan Football Federation, Abdulhakim Al-Shelmani, has submitted his resignation. Following this, a congress of the Libyan federation was convened, where Al-Shelmani made strong comments about his tenure, stating that he does not wish to be part of the failures of Libyan sports.
