Bayern Munich's head coach, Thomas Tuchel, gave an interview on the official UEFA website, outlining their plans for the UEFA Champions League.

According to him, the competition is highly competitive, and thus, the group stage is no walk in the park. Throughout his career, there has never been an easy group stage, so one must always be on edge.

"In a group with Galatasaray, Manchester United, and Copenhagen, you can't afford to make a single mistake, let alone two. Therefore, we are working to become more resilient and dependable," Tuchel stated.

Furthermore, the Bayern manager mentioned that their goal is always to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Winning your group means facing the team that finishes second in their group in the Round of 16.

"From there, a lot depends on the draw. In recent years, there have been significant disparities in the quarter-finals. I believe there is a substantial difference between playing against Manchester City or another club, as they are the standard at the moment," he added.

Nonetheless, he first wants to guide Bayern to the knockout stage and then continue their journey from there.
