The President of the United States has signed an executive order prohibiting transgender athletes from participating in women's competitions.

Details: The new order, titled "Keeping Men Out of Women's Sports," grants federal agencies the authority to strictly penalize transgender individuals who attempt to compete in women's events by any means.

Additionally, the Department of Justice and the Department of Education will now have broad powers to enforce these regulations, even in educational institutions that receive federal funding. Schools that allow transgender athletes to participate in women's competitions risk losing their funding.

Quote: "The war on women's sports is over. My administration will not stand by and watch as men dominate and mistreat female athletes," Trump declared during the signing ceremony.

Reminder: During an NHL match between the Ottawa Senators and the Minnesota Wild, local fans booed the U.S. national anthem. The game was sold out, with approximately 20,000 fans in attendance at the arena.
