True humanity! Deniz Undav distributes food on the streets of Stuttgart
Stuttgart striker Deniz Undav has shown incredible humanity ahead of the Christmas holidays, teaming up with the German Red Cross to distribute food and essentials to the homeless and those in need, reports Bild.
Dressed in a red vest, Undav personally funded the food and supplies he handed out, including thermoses, sleeping mats, tea, and soup. He spent two hours in Stuttgart's city center, engaging with residents and supporters. Fans who recognized him on the streets stopped to ask for photos, and Deniz graciously obliged every request.
In addition to his direct efforts, the footballer also made a monetary donation to the Red Cross.
"I’ve had a fantastic year with VfB and have always felt the support of the fans. I wanted to give something back to the people of Stuttgart as a way of saying thank you," Undav explained.
The German forward had an outstanding previous season, featuring in 33 matches across all competitions, scoring 19 goals and providing 10 assists. His remarkable performances were instrumental in helping Stuttgart secure an impressive second-place finish in the Bundesliga, surpassing even Bayern Munich.
