Tottenham has lost their star player Son Heung-min once again due to injury.

Details: Head coach Ange Postecoglou confirmed that the South Korean forward will not be participating in the Europa League match against AZ on Thursday, October 24.

Quote: “We’re missing one player today. Son felt a bit of discomfort after the weekend, and he won’t be playing tomorrow regardless. We’ll just leave him out for now and see how he feels later,” the Australian coach said at a Wednesday press conference.

Reminder: The South Korean star had just recovered from a hamstring injury to return to the starting lineup for the match against West Ham. Son scored a goal in the London derby, playing 70 minutes.

Tottenham began their Europa League campaign on a promising note, securing victories against Qarabag and Ferencváros in their first two matches.

Notably, Postecoglou recently expressed dissatisfaction with his team’s performance, stating that he would “explode” at his players if things didn’t improve.
