All's fair in war—and in World Cup matches. The Ghana national team is about to receive an unexpected boost ahead of their showdown with England.

Details: According to the Daily Mail, a Ghanaian witch doctor is planning to cast a curse on England striker Harry Kane, aiming to disrupt the Three Lions' game plan before their encounter with Ghana.

A man named Nana Kwaku Bonsam claims this won’t be the first curse in his "career": he believes he was behind Cristiano Ronaldo’s knee injury back in 2014, when Portugal faced Ghana. Bonsam insists he conjured up problems for Ronaldo several months before the tournament.

Nevertheless, it didn’t help Ghana: the team fell 1-2 to the European powerhouse, with Ronaldo himself netting the winning goal in the 80th minute.

The second-round World Cup fixture between England and Ghana will take place on the evening of June 23: both teams have three points after the opening round and will battle for sole leadership in Group L.
