But the troubles for the reigning German champions didn't end there.
Details. In the second half, the "Pharmacists'" leader Florian Wirtz left the field due to injury. According to Fabrizio Romano, the midfielder exited BayArena on crutches and might miss the UEFA Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on March 11.
This season, the 21-year-old Wirtz has tallied 9 goals and 11 assists in 25 matches of the German top flight.
