Barcelona's women's team have once again asserted their undisputed dominance on the European stage.
Details: In a spectacular Champions League final, the Blaugrana left no chance for French side Lyon, crushing their arch-rivals with a resounding 3-0 victory.
The first half was a fiercely contested, evenly matched battle, but after the break, there was only one team in charge. The night turned into a true showcase for Eva Pahor. In the 55th minute, the Slovenian striker broke the deadlock with a clinical finish that sent the stands into a frenzy. Then, in the 69th minute, Pahor struck again, completing her brace and effectively sealing the outcome.
As the match drew to a close, Salma Paralluelo took center stage. The Spanish superstar delivered a fiery finish: first, she made it 3-0 in the 90th minute, and then deep into stoppage time, at 90+4, she added her own brace to put an emphatic final stamp on this historic rout.
This victory is historic for the women's Blaugrana. Barcelona have now lifted Europe's most prestigious club trophy for the fourth time in their history. The last time the Catalan giants celebrated Champions League glory was in 2024, and now, two years later, the gold medals return to the capital of Catalonia.
