Trent says joining Real Madrid has fulfilled his dream
Today, Trent Alexander-Arnold was officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player. During the presentation, the new defender of Los Blancos made a statement that’s unlikely to sit well with Liverpool or Barcelona fans.
Details: While Trent thanked his former club for their time together, he made it clear that he always knew if he ever left Liverpool, it would only be for Real Madrid—and now his dream has come true. Why did the move happen now? Because he felt the time was finally right.
Quote: “I’m on cloud nine! Signing for Real Madrid doesn’t happen every day. It’s a dream come true. I’ve always known that if I ever left Liverpool, it would only be for Real Madrid. No one else. There was never a question of ‘Where will I go?’—it was always ‘Should I go to Madrid or not?’ I’ll always be eternally grateful to Liverpool, I’ll always owe them. I spent 20 years there and enjoyed every minute. I just felt that now was the right time to make the move,” said Trent.
Reminder: Previously, the defender had stated that after Liverpool, his favorite team was Barcelona.
