On Wednesday, 3 December, Real Madrid faced Athletic Bilbao in a La Liga clash, and early in the match one of the players delivered a decisive contribution.

Details: In the seventh minute, Real Madrid scored through Kylian Mbappé, assisted by Trent Alexander-Arnold. For the Englishman, this was his first assist for Real Madrid in La Liga.

Additionally, it marked his first goal contribution since July, when he also provided an assist in a FIFA Club World Cup match.

Incidentally, with this goal, Mbappé matched Cristiano Ronaldo’s record for most goals scored in a single calendar year, reaching 61 goals—the same total Ronaldo achieved in 2014.

Reminder: Supporters are calling on the players to back Xabi Alonso. The messages appeared on banners displayed at Valdebebas.
