The Galacticos are confident they can persuade Rodri to leave England behind.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano on his social media page X, 29-year-old Manchester City midfielder Rodri is seriously considering leaving the club this coming summer.
Reports indicate that Rodri no longer sees his future in Manchester and wishes to return home to Spain with his family. The main contender for Rodri is Real Madrid, who have been trying to lure the Ballon d'Or winner for more than one season.
Rodri will make his final decision after the World Cup, but if he does leave City, it will only be for Real.
This season, Rodri has missed a total of 18 matches due to injuries. There are growing doubts in Manchester about whether the Spaniard can return to his previous form, and as a result, the club is in no rush to offer him a new contract.
Rodri's current contract with Manchester City runs until the summer of 2027, and his market value is estimated at €75 million by Transfermarkt.
