At just 18 years old, the young Senegalese winger Yaya Diémé will officially join RC Strasbourg in January 2026. Coming from ASC Diambars, the U20 international, who participated in the last Africa Cup of Nations for his age group, is embarking on an important stage of his career.
When Yaya Diémé arrives in France at the beginning of 2026, he will join the Alsatian team managed by Liam Rosenior. The player, who came up through the Diambars youth system in Saly, will complete a one-month trial at Chelsea as part of the BlueCo project, the owner of both the London club and RC Strasbourg. This period will allow him to gradually prepare for European football and facilitate his adaptation.
Yaya Dieme will thus follow the path of several young players sent from Chelsea to Strasbourg, including his compatriot Pape Daouda Diongue, in order to gain experience in France before playing at the highest level.
