Borussia Dortmund is determined not to let one of Europe's brightest young stars slip through their fingers.
Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, the German club has made initial contact regarding a potential transfer for Genk's attacking midfielder Konstantinos Karetsas.
Negotiations for the 18-year-old Greek prodigy are already underway, but any potential deal promises to be far from straightforward. Genk has previously turned down two more offers for the player and so far shows no intention of parting ways with their star.
Despite the firm stance of the Belgian side, Borussia is pushing hard to seal the transfer and is determined to seize the initiative in the race for Karetsas.
It's worth noting that Karetsas is under contract with Genk until the summer of 2029. Transfermarkt currently values the Greek midfielder at 35 million euros.
