Usually, managers delegate scouting duties for transfer targets to their assistants or scouts, but Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi opted to personally watch the player who caught his eye.
Details: Nabi, together with Chiefs' head of scouting Tembela Maliva, was spotted at the Tanzanian Premier League match between Simba and Singida Black Stars, held this Wednesday and ending 1-0. According to Soccer Laduma, the club representatives from Naturena were interested in the home side’s forward, Denis Kibu.
Unfortunately for the South African visitors, their main target did not make the starting lineup in this match, but Nabi and Maliva still used the opportunity to check out other players on their radar.
Reminder: Previously, Nabi stated that he wants more tools to build the squad in order to remain with the team.
