Everything depends on Aston Villa.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus have taken the first step towards signing Argentina's national team goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez, having extended an initial personal contract offer to the player.
Reports indicate that Martínez is open to a move to the Turin giants, but the final outcome of the deal will hinge on Aston Villa's stance. At this stage, negotiations between the clubs are still in their infancy, so a final agreement remains a distant prospect.
At the same time, Juventus are also considering an alternative option. Guglielmo Vicario remains on the club's shortlist, and he is expected to leave Tottenham this summer.
Emiliano Martínez's transfer value is estimated at €12 million by Transfermarkt, and his contract with Aston Villa runs until 2029.
