Ferran Torres is on the verge of a sensational league switch.

Details: According to Sky Sport, the Barcelona forward has reached a verbal agreement with PSG and has given the green light for a move to the French club after the World Cup.

The Spanish striker reportedly wants to continue his career in Paris. At the same time, talks to extend his contract with Barcelona, which runs until the summer of 2027, have hit a major stumbling block.

The Catalan club is already preparing for Torres’ possible departure. Barcelona are close to sealing the transfer of Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund, who is expected to strengthen the team's attacking line. The two sides have agreed on a €22 million fee plus another €7 million in bonuses.

The arrival of Adeyemi could ultimately push Ferran towards the exit, as competition for a spot in Barcelona’s starting XI will become even fiercer.

It’s worth noting that Transfermarkt currently values Ferran Torres at €50 million.

Reminder: Here we go! Barcelona pull off major transfer.
