Transfer bombshell! Barcelona to sign Bernardo Silva

Barcelona are set to make a major upgrade to their midfield.

Details: According to ElChiringuitoTV, the 31-year-old attacking midfielder from Manchester City and the Portuguese national team has made a final decision not to extend his contract with his current club and will leave Manchester this summer as a free agent.

It is reported that Silva will join Catalan giants Barcelona on a free transfer during the summer window. The Blaugrana are ready to offer Silva a lucrative multi-year contract. The player has already given his verbal agreement to join Barcelona.

Bernardo Silva joined Manchester City back in 2017 from Monaco for €50 million. To date, he has made 437 appearances for City, scoring 73 goals and providing 76 assists.

Silva’s current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2026, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €27 million.
