The player has already held talks with Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola and has made it clear he is interested in a move to Anfield.

The key stumbling block remains the financial aspect of the transfer. Despite Barcola’s desire to join Liverpool, the move will not go through until the English and French clubs find a compromise.
