Tragedy at the Oxford United academy. Club announces death of 15-year-old footballer

Oxford United Football Club has reported the passing of 15-year-old academy footballer Amelia Aplin.

The incident occurred on March 7 during a girls’ academy match against Fulham at the club’s training centre in Horspath. Amelia suddenly collapsed on the pitch.
