Cameroon head coach Marc Brys has stunned fans with his final squad selection for AFCON 2025.

Details: Today, the final list of players for Cameroon's national team at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations was released, but there was no place for 29-year-old Manchester United goalkeeper, currently on loan at Trabzonspor, André Onana, nor for 33-year-old Neftchi striker Vincent Aboubakar.

Onana has been representing Cameroon since 2016, and missing out on such a major tournament could deal a serious blow to the goalkeeper's morale.

As for Aboubakar, he has worn the Cameroon shirt since as far back as 2010, but it appears that age is finally catching up with him.

This means the main stars for Cameroon at AFCON will be Manchester United forward Bryan Mbeumo and Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba.

The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations kicks off on December 21 and will run until January 18, 2026. Cameroon has been drawn into Group F alongside Gabon, Mozambique, and Ivory Coast.
