Touching💙❤️. Barcelona captain says goodbye to his hometown club
Barcelona captain Sergi Roberto has bid farewell to the Catalan club. The defender's contract with the "Blaugranas" expired in June, and both parties decided not to extend their collaboration.
"Culers, it's time to thank you for all the journey we've traveled together 💙❤️ Long live Barça, forever!" the Spaniard wrote briefly on social media.
The club also released a video in which they said goodbye to the experienced defender.
The 32-year-old Sergi Roberto spent his entire career at Barcelona. He has 373 matches, 19 goals, and 43 assists for his home club.
It was previously reported that Sergi Roberto is attracting interest from three La Liga clubs: Valencia, Sevilla, and Girona. He is open to considering all three options, but first wants to wait for offers from the English Premier League.
