London's Tottenham is considering appointing Oliver Glasner as head coach in place of Ange Postecoglou this summer. However, the club will have to pay a compensation fee of £17 million for this. This was reported by Christian Falk.

Oliver Glasner has already attracted interest from both Tottenham and RB Leipzig. However, it is reported that the coach himself wants to continue his career in the Premier League, which increases the Spurs' chances of signing him.

At the same time, Crystal Palace is not keen on parting ways with the coach and has already started negotiations to extend his contract. To break the current agreement, the club will demand at least €20 million (around £17m).

It is unclear whether Tottenham president Daniel Levy is ready to pay such an amount. Besides Glasner, the club is also considering other candidates: Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola (who has already declined negotiations), Marco Silva from Fulham (who has a buyout clause of £8m), as well as Thomas Frank from Brentford and Simone Inzaghi from Inter, although these options seem unlikely at the moment.
