Tottenham has successfully negotiated a contract extension with the talented left-back Destiny Udogie, as reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The 21-year-old player is set to sign a new long-term deal with the London club shortly. According to sources, the parties have reached an agreement for the signing of the new contract, with all details resolved, and an official announcement is expected soon. It is noted that Udogie will receive a salary increase under the terms of the new contract. His current deal with the club is set to expire in the summer of 2027.

Udogie is a product of Verona's youth academy and began his senior football career with the club in 2020. For the 2021/22 season, he was loaned out to Udinese, where he gained regular playing time. At the end of the 2021/22 season, during which the young defender participated in 35 Serie A matches, Udinese exercised the option to purchase his contract for four million euros.

Afterward, the Italian club reached an agreement for the player's transfer to Tottenham Hotspur in England for a fee of 18 million euros. The deal stipulated that Udogie would spend the 2022/23 season with Udinese on loan. During this season, he established himself as the team's regular left-back, featuring in 33 Serie A matches.
