Tottenham vs Roma: what to know about the match?

Tottenham recently delivered an emphatic 4-0 victory over Manchester City away in their last Premier League match. This win propelled the Spurs to sixth place in the table, with 19 points after 12 matches. In the Europa League, their campaign has also been solid. They won their first three games: Qarabag 3-0, Ferencváros 2-1, and AZ Alkmaar 1-0. However, they suffered a setback in the fourth round, losing 2-3 to Galatasaray. As a result, Tottenham are now in seventh place in the standings with nine points after four rounds.

Roma, on the other hand, are struggling this season. The club has already changed two managers, appointing Claudio Ranieri as the new head coach. In Serie A, the "Wolves" sit in 12th place, with 13 points after 13 matches. Their Europa League campaign has been inconsistent as well, with two draws in the opening rounds against Athletic Bilbao and Royale Union SG, a victory over Dynamo Kyiv, and a 0-1 defeat to Elfsborg. After four rounds, Roma have five points and occupy 20th place in the standings.
