Tottenham target Santos left-back Souza and have already made a new offer

London side Tottenham are looking to strengthen their left flank and have set their sights on a candidate in Brazil. The Spurs are eager to sign young Brazilian left-back Souza.

Details: According to Ben Jacobs, Tottenham have submitted an updated transfer proposal for Santos left-back Souza after their initial offer was turned down. The deal is reportedly valued at around €15 million.

The 19-year-old Brazilian himself is interested in a move to the Premier League and is positive about a potential switch to England. However, Santos have yet to respond to the new offer and are insisting on a sell-on clause being included in the agreement.

It is worth noting that despite his young age, Souza has already made 38 appearances for Santos' first team, scoring once and providing four assists. Transfermarkt values him at €5 million.
