A commonly used name for the North London club is "Tottenham," but the club itself insists that this is incorrect.

Details: According to The Athletic, on February 10, Premier League broadcasters received a letter titled "Tottenham Hotspur Naming Update," clarifying how the club wants to be referred to.

They specifically requested that the club be called Tottenham Hotspur in full, with "Spurs" being the preferred short form. The club has asked not to be referred to simply as Tottenham.

The reasoning behind this is straightforward: Tottenham is the name of a district, not the club itself. This has been a long-standing club policy, in place since 2011.

Reminder: Previously, Spurs learned their opponent for the Europa League Round of 16.
