Tottenham Ready £65m Bid for Bournemouth Star Antoine Semenyo
According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur is intensifying their efforts to sign Antoine Semenyo, intending to make an offer of £65 million (€76 million) for the Ghanaian striker who plays for Bournemouth this summer.
Why Semenyo?
The 25-year-old forward enjoyed a breakout campaign in the 2023/24 Premier League season, scoring 11 goals and providing 5 assists in 37 appearances. He's an essential part of the Cherries assault because of his strength, speed and ability to take on defenders.
Spurs seek attacking reinforcement
With Ange Postecoglou looking to reinforce Spurs frontline, Semenyo's viewed as a dynamic option to support or even rotate with Richarlison. A product of Bristol City's academy, Semenyo is currently tied to Bournemouth until 2029, but the North London club sees him as a long-term asset.
Chelsea also in the frame
Tottenham may face competition from Chelsea, who are also monitoring the Ghanaian international closely. However, the size of Spurs’ imminent offer could give them the edge in the transfer battle.
If the deal goes through, it would mark one of Tottenham’s biggest moves of the window—and signal serious intent ahead of the new season.
