Tottenham manager confirms plans for January reinforcements

Tottenham are struggling to achieve consistent results and are dealing with injury issues among players, prompting potential transfers in January.

Details: Head coach Ange Postecoglou revealed that the team is planning to enter the transfer market in January to strengthen the squad. According to him, the team is still lacking players in certain areas.

Quote: "We have planned reinforcements, yes. To say that we are still short in a few areas and need strengthening is an understatement. We are still competing in all tournaments, so we will try to sign players," Postecoglou stated.

In their most recent match, Tottenham suffered a heavy 3-6 defeat against Liverpool. The team is currently in 11th place with 23 points.

Reminder: Spurs tied a Premier League record for poor defensive performance in their match against Liverpool. Tottenham conceded first in 14 different home league matches in 2024, setting an unwanted record for the most by any team in a single calendar year.
