Argentinian forward Alejo Veliz, who joined Tottenham for €15 million in the summer, will spend the remainder of the season at another club.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the forward has been loaned to the Spanish club Sevilla. All legal details have been agreed upon between the clubs, and the player has already passed the medical examination.

Importantly, the loan agreement does not include a purchase option. Veliz will return to Tottenham in the summer.

In the current campaign, the forward has played eight matches for Spurs, mostly coming on in the final minutes. In the 19th round of the Premier League against Brighton (2-4), Veliz received 20 minutes of playing time and scored his first and only goal in England so far.

Veliz's contract with Tottenham is valid until the summer of 2029, and Transfermarkt values him at €11 million.
