Tottenham are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of next season and have now set their sights on signing one of the key figures for both Italy and Newcastle.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs have entered the race for Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali. Roberto De Zerbi is keen to make Tonali the new centerpiece of his midfield and views him as the ideal player to take the team to the next level.
Tottenham are prepared to compete with Manchester City and Arsenal in the battle for the Italian international.
Meanwhile, 26-year-old Spanish right-back Pedro Porro is on the verge of signing a contract extension with Tottenham.
