Tottenham could hijack Mbeumo from Manchester United

Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo has been linked with a move to Manchester United, but an unexpected contender has entered the race.
Details: According to Sky Sports, Tottenham have opened initial talks with Brentford regarding the signing of Mbeumo. It is believed that the forward himself prefers a switch to North London, especially since his former head coach Thomas Frank is now based there.
Previously, it was thought that Mbeumo was keen on a move to Manchester United, but the appointment of the Danish manager has given Tottenham confidence in completing the deal. The Red Devils' previous offer was rejected, but Old Trafford remains determined to fight for the Cameroonian international.
Reminder: Earlier, Manchester United announced their first signing of the summer – forward Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton.
