Tottenham continues to keep an eye on the young defender from Bournemouth

Central defender Ilya Zabarnyi from Bournemouth is on Tottenham's shortlist. However, the London club will only pursue this acquisition during the winter transfer window if they fail to retain their central defender Eric Dier.

According to Mirror, Spurs have been monitoring the player since his days at Dynamo Kyiv. Although the player moved to Bournemouth last winter, Tottenham maintained interest in him and continues to observe the performance of the Ukrainian defender.

It was reported a few days ago by Daily Mail that Inter Milan and AC Milan have also shown interest in the 21-year-old defender.

This season, the player has appeared in all 16 Premier League matches for his team and has additionally played twice in English League Cup matches.

As per Transfermarkt, Zabarnyi's market value stands at 20 million euros, and his contract with Bournemouth runs until June 2028.

Additionally, today Tottenham convincingly defeated Newcastle, securing a 4-1 victory in favor of Postecoglou's team.
