Tottenham Consider Move for Chelsea Striker Nicolas Jackson
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly weighing up a summer move for Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson, with the Blues believed to have placed a £65 million valuation on the Senegal international.
According to the Daily Mail, Spurs are among the clubs monitoring Jackson's situation as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season.
The report adds that Aston Villa are also keeping tabs on the striker, although neither club has submitted an official bid or entered formal negotiations with Chelsea at this stage.
While discussions between the clubs have not yet taken place, Tottenham are understood to be seriously assessing whether Jackson could become one of their priority attacking targets before the transfer window closes.
The former Villarreal forward is currently travelling with Chelsea's first-team squad for pre-season after spending last season on loan at Bayern Munich. However, speculation over his future continues to grow as interest from Premier League rivals intensifies.
