Injuries continue to haunt Tottenham this season. The head coach, Nuno Espírito Santo, revealed that their primary center-back, Cristian Romero, will be sidelined for 4 to 5 weeks due to a knee ligament injury.
"Romero had a scan and he's got a hamstring strain. We're looking at four to five weeks with him", – said Espirito Santo at the press conference ahead of the match against Brighton.
Meanwhile, the Australian coach also mentioned that center-back Miki van de Ven is close to returning to the field.
Due to injuries, Tottenham is still without Ryan Sessegnon, Ivan Perišić, Ricard Bentancur, and Manor Solomon.
Cristian Romero has played in 15 Premier League matches this season, scoring 3 goals.
