Tottenham are looking to make another transfer. Postecoglou prioritised for reinforcements
Tottenham made five transfers in the summer transfer window, which were mainly focused on the attack. But there are still positions that Ange Postecoglou wants to strengthen.
Of those five transfers, two of them have been in midfield and according to Football Insider, Spurs want to sign companion Archie Gray, who joined from Leeds in the summer. The North London club freed up both squad space and money for a new acquisition with the sale of Oliver Skipp to Leicester last week.
Tottenham intend to add depth to the squad with a new midfielder. However, the club fear that a star name will be difficult to bring into the squad towards the end of the transfer window, but are open to acquiring a player in that line up.
Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr are Postecoglou's first-choice options in midfield, while Gray has come on as a substitute in both Premier League games this season.
