Top Premier League clubs are interested in the young Danish talent

The left-back of Lecce and the Danish U-21 national team has attracted the interest of two top English clubs from London, namely Chelsea and Tottenham.

The 19-year-old player showcases excellent football skills, catching attention not only in England but also in Spain. According to Tipsbladet reports, aside from the London clubs, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Barcelona have shown interest in him.

Patrick Dorgu is a product of the football academy of the Danish club Nordsjælland. Last season, he played for Lecce's youth team on loan and this summer signed a permanent contract with the Italian club. His contract was bought for €200,000, and according to Transfermarkt, his value has now risen to €2.5 million.

In August, the defender made his debut for Lecce in the Italian Cup match against Como, and a week later, he was already in the starting lineup for a Serie A match against Lazio. Since then, he has become a regular player for the Italian club, having played a total of fourteen matches for Lecce.

Dorgu represents the youth national team of Denmark, having featured in the U-18, U-19, and U-20 squads, and currently playing in the U-21 team.
