Top Premier League club to try and poach Euro 2024 star from Barcelona

Immediately following the conclusion of Euro 2024, Barcelona intensified their efforts to acquire Athletic Bilbao and Spain star Nico Williams. However, a formidable competitor has emerged.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea is determined to intercept Williams from Barça. Initially, the club considered his release clause of 60 million euros too steep, but after the winger's stunning success at Euro 2024, the London club has revised its stance.
Nevertheless, it is known that Williams prefers to stay in Spain and is inclined to accept Barcelona's offer.
During Spain's triumphant Euro 2024 campaign, Williams was a key player and one of the tournament's standout performers. He played in 6 matches, contributing 1 assist and scoring 2 goals, one of which came in the final against England.
In the recently concluded season, Nico Williams appeared in 37 matches for Athletic across all competitions, scoring 8 goals and providing 17 assists.
