Chelsea defeated Burnley 2–0 in their Premier League fixture and are now preparing for their UEFA Champions League match. The club has also secured a new sponsor.

Details: Chelsea officially announced on their social media channels that Coca-Cola is now a club sponsor. The brand will appear on stadium advertising boards and in various club promotional materials, but not on players’ jerseys.

Interestingly, ahead of their Champions League Matchday 5 clash against Chelsea, Barcelona decided not to train on the opponent’s pitch. The team’s decision was motivated by a desire to keep tactical plans secret and not reveal their game strategies.

Reminder: Cole Palmer was finally close to returning from a groin injury when he broke the “pinky” on his left foot by hitting it against a door at home. It sounds trivial, but for a player who relies on powerful strikes and high pressing, the timing and location of such an incident can become a real setback.
