Munich's Bayern are determined to keep one of the world's most promising footballers in their ranks.
Details: According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern's young sensation Lennart Karl has signaled his readiness for a long-term commitment with the Munich club. Previously, the player stated his dream was to join Real Madrid, but for now, he is more than willing to focus on building his career with Bayern.
Karl's current contract is set to be automatically extended until 2029 on his 18th birthday, February 22, 2026, with his present salary around €2 million per year. However, Bayern's management are interested in extending his deal further, until 2030 or even 2031, with a possible salary increase to the €5-8 million range. Such a move would ensure stability and calm within the club, while locking down one of the most exciting young prospects in the game.
At this stage, no concrete talks have taken place between the club and Karl's representatives, but both parties are open to discussing a future partnership.
It's worth noting that this season, Bayern's prodigy has already made twenty appearances for the Munich side, scoring six goals and providing two assists.
Reminder: Bayern goalkeeper Daniel Peretz has transferred to English club Southampton.
