In post since 2024
The Belgian manager’s departure was announced by the Malian Football Federation.
Tom Saintfiet has officially stepped down as head coach of the Mali national team. Appointed in August 2024, the 53-year-old coach has seen his tenure come to an end. The announcement of his departure was made during the night between Tuesday and Wednesday.
However, the Malian Football Federation did not specify the reasons for this parting of ways. The governing body simply expressed its gratitude to Tom Saintfiet, wishing him all the best for the rest of his career.
Tom Saintfiet’s departure comes a few days after the installation of the new executive committee of the Malian Football Federation, with Mahazou Baba Cisset as president.
