Tolu Arokodare Backs Rob Edwards to Rescue Wolverhampton Wanderers From Relegation

Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare has voiced his confidence in Wolverhampton Wanderers’ newly appointed head coach, Rob Edwards, believing the coach can help the club overcome its early-season struggles.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Arokodare said:

“He’s let us know that he’s going to be there for us, he’s going to fight for us, and we just have to reward him—and reward the fans who have stuck with us from the start of the season until now.”

Wolves have had a difficult start to the 2025/26 Premier League season, a run of poor results that ultimately led to the exit of former head coach Vitor Pereira.

The Wanderers currently sit at the bottom of the league table with just two points, following a 2-0 home defeat to Crystal Palace at Molineux on Saturday. They will now turn their attention to their next league game, an away match against Aston Villa on Sunday.
